Emma Hardy is a photographer based in London. For nearly 2 decades the cornerstone of her practice has been documenting her immediate family. She shoots analogue and is attached to cinematic narrative and the eccentricities of human-ness.
Emma has chosen to donate the proceeds from her work to HARLESDEN MASSIVE. Harlesden is one of the very worst affected Covid-19 area in the whole of London and the UK, and HARLESDEN MASSIVE group distributes food to those affected by Covid-19 donated by London restaurants & groceries from the local foodbank.
As a regular volunteer driver, Emma has seen at first hand the incredible dedication and organization the leaders of MASSIVE. It’s a new and sparsely funded operation, who provide a much needed service to people who are often too scared or financially stretched to go and buy their own food, as well as those in isolation and recovery.
