Naima Green is an artist and educator based in Brooklyn, NY and Mexico City, Mexico. She is the creator of "Pur·suit" a deck of playing cards and forthcoming archive featuring queer womxn, trans, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming people. Naima's work considers placemaking, rest, and leisure as acts of resistance for Black and queer people. She has chosen to support The Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) whose mission is to create space for Black organizations across the country to debate and discuss the current political conditions, develop shared assessments of what political interventions are necessary in order to achieve key policy, cultural and political wins, while also convening organizational leadership in order to debate and co-create a shared movement-wide strategy. We can achieve more together than we can separately.
