FFS connects artists with charitable causes that inspire them

How it works:

FFS is an ongoing, rotating fundraising platform, shining a light on photographers and incredible nonprofit organizations around the world.

The 9 photographers on the home page are offering prints in 2 sizes (9x12" and 13x16"). Print sales last one calendar month. Each of the photographers have chosen a beneficiary of their choice, which you can learn about on their respective page. 100% of proceeds from respective print sales go to their organization at the end of the month.

Next month, FFS will feature 9 new photographers, selected by the artists you see here, who will raise money for a new set of causes and organizations close to their heart.

Where can prints be shipped? Prints and frames are produced in the US and can be shipped globally. Customers shipping orders outside of the US are responsible for all customs/VAT on packages.

How can I show work on the site? Each photographer chooses the artist for next month. Hope you’re friends with that person!

What kind of paper and printers are you working with? Who is printing? We are working with Simply Framed as the printer and framer for FFS. Prints are created on Epson Stylus 9800 wide-format printers and printed on Canson Baryta Photographique Paper, a pure white paper with a satin surface that mimics a darkroom photo paper. Frames are made of real wood, built by hand in the US.

When are you making donations? Donations to each of the photographer’s respective charities will be made 24 hours after print sales close (aka on the first of the month).

When will I get my print? We begin production of your print when the order is placed. Due to COVID-19, we ask for your patience in production and shipping of your order, as the printing/framing facility strives to work in a safe environment.

Are prints editioned? Prints are not editioned on this site.

Will the prints have borders? All prints will have a 1/2” white border on each side. 9x12” prints will be a 8x10” image with a 1/2” border on all sides. 13x16" prints will be a 12x15" image with a  1/2” border on all sides.

Tell me more about these frames...
The frames are black, with a flat 5/8" face and a 1-1/16" depth.

When exactly will the window close to purchase a print from that month? At midnight EST (NYC time) on the last day of the month.
You know what FFS stands for, right? Yes, the name was borne out of watching the Brett Kavanaugh hearings in the US in 2018 and seeing him get sworn into the Supreme Court.
