Tonje Thilesen is a photographer based in NYC, and born and raised in Oslo, Norway. Their work centers around community and its reflection in nature. Tonje has chosen to donate the funds from this print sale towards the black-owned, NYC-based organization Activation, an experimental reparations-based funding and investment program that accumulates funds through member contributions, and redistributes funds to members and Activation using a cooperative decision making process. Activation is currently raising money towards a rest and healing program for QTBIPOC frontliners this fall.
